This is Fitzroy Doncaster Cricket Club's website, run on Morrie. Here's what it keeps about a visit, in plain words.

Counting visits, without cookies

The site counts how many people visit each page, how they found it (a search engine, an AI assistant, social media or a link), and — for the club's sponsors — how often a sponsor's logo is shown on screen, their page is opened, and their website, offer or enquiry form is used. These are totals per day. No cookie is set and nothing is stored on your device for this.

To count a visitor once a day rather than once per page, Morrie makes a short scrambled code from your connection and browser with a key that changes every day, and deletes it after two days. Your IP address, the page you came from and anything that would identify you are never stored, so a visit can't be traced back to you or followed from one day to the next.

Google Analytics

This site doesn't use Google Analytics or any other tracking cookies, so there's nothing to accept.

Enquiry forms

When you send an enquiry to one of the club's sponsors, your name, email, phone (if you give it) and message go to Fitzroy Doncaster Cricket Club, and to that sponsor when they've asked to get enquiries directly. They're used only to answer your enquiry and are deleted after two years.
